For the month of February let’s see your benches processed in Black and White

Tips for B&W photography.
If you would like to join in with the Bench photo challenge then please take a look at my Bench Series page. No complicated rules, just a bench and a camera required 🙂
- Create your own post and title it Bench Series: February
- Include a link to this page in your post so others can find it too
- Add the tag ‘bench series’ so everyone can find the benches easily in the WP Reader
- Get your post in by the end of the month, as the new bench theme comes out on the first Sunday in March
My Picks of the Week:
Well there is always one who wants to break the rules (but then rules are always meant to be broken) – have a look at the gorgeous benches from Restlessjo in her tongue-in-cheek post.
Elizabeth takes us to Sydney Opera House with some lovely night shots.
Lumar1298 has some pretty benches and locations for us
Aletta has some long benches this week, but are they the longest benches?
Oddly shaped bench on Klara’s post this week
and Pauline has some odd character on one of her benches 🙂
This is the last week for Black and White images so if you have any please enter them before next Sunday as then I shall be looking for Wooden benches.
Ah, nice contre jour shot!
remarkable – Brilliant – Like a journey!
I have to go with Elizabeth’s view of the Harbour Bridge from that bench. Nice to see it at night, and I bet that is a great bench to sit and enjoy it from too.
Regards as always, Pete. x
Just a thought. How about ‘The view from a bench’ for your next challenge?
Sounds interesting! Very much so.
Lovely shot, Jude.
Have a great Sunday, Jude, Pete and Ollie.

Funny you should say that Pete – that is April’s theme. Next month are wooden benches. So they could come with a view 🙂
I’m sorry I didn’t go down there at night!
I thought I’d linked my post but maybe I hadn’t

Cathy
I think you did Cathy, but I was in a hurry this week so just plucked half a dozen posts out. I’ll link back to you next week as I don’t suppose there will be many more B&W benches this month.
Jude xx
nice silhouette Jude.
I really appreciate black and white aspect of this month.

That’s a great composition Klara. Thank you 🙂
Love this one, Jude. Looks quite ghostly. 🙂
Shooting into the sun – there is actually a lake in the background, but you can’t tell!
My feeling from this photo is its anchored on the edge of a precipice so you can look out over the expanse below. Scary being high and close to the edge.
Haunting photo.
I can see that! I can tell you are a writer 🙂
I felt it was hidden in a secret garden. The shape of the bench is like something out of a fantasy.
😀 😀 😀 I hardly ever think in terms of fantasy but I love the picture you’ve painted in your comment: a secret garden. ❤ ❤ ❤
