For the month of May I’m looking for benches at the beach

If you would like to join in with the Bench photo challenge then please take a look at my Bench Series page. No complicated rules, just a bench and a camera required 🙂
- Create your own post and title it Bench Series: May
- Include a link to this page in your post so others can find it too
- Add the tag ‘bench series’ so everyone can find the benches easily in the WP Reader
- Get your post in by the end of the month, as the new bench theme comes out on the first Sunday in June.
My Picks of the Week:
Aletta is in one of my favourite parts of the Cape.
Tgeriatrix has more benches in Belgium – now why does it feel so flat there?
Anabel takes us for a stroll around Dunbar, you’ll need a sit on that bench after this.
Pauline is waiting for the sun to rise. Well at least that’s what I think she is doing here.
And Debbie takes us to Broadstairs this week. There is a very good ice-cream parlour in Broadstairs if you happen to be that way. If you saw Mary Berry’s program on Friday night (UK) you will have seen it (and the knickerbocker glory). When I was a kid I dreamed of having one of those. Unfortunately a 99 was the most my parents could afford.
Beautiful bench pic, Jude. Just the perfect place to sit a while. 🙂
It was, but I didn’t – I was on the Heritage trail so didn’t linger. Well not there anyway 🙂
I love how the colour of the bench matches the colour of the water. 🙂
I love this spot. Wonderful blue of the bench jumping out from the white sand. I will meet you there Jude. 🙂
Oh, yes, a perfect spot for a chin-wag Sue 🙂
Wow, the bench same color as the water!
Here are mine for this week:https://geriatrixfotogallerie.wordpress.com/2015/05/18/benches/
Why does it appear so flat? Why is it called Netherland?
Snap! I’ve never eaten a macaron either (and I think we’re a rare breed) 🙂 I have had the odd 99 though (dozens of them, come to think of it). Nothing so glam in my post but there’s an icecream van. Lovely bench shot, Jude 🙂

I’d rather have a cream tea 🙂
Coming over to look at your ice-cream van, oh and benches…
Love the soft turquoise of the sea and my favourite benches are half in sun, for Jack, half in shade, for me…
This lookout is in Tasmania
Do you have the fair Celtic skin then PP? I mean you are a Yorkshire lass too, though I forget which part.
Does a workout bench count as a bench ;-)? If so, here is mine from the Adriatic coast:
