These water-lilies in Kew Garden’s Victorian Waterlily House are a little off-centre.

but still most beautiful.

I have lived in the UK for most of my life, but when young I definitely had wanderlust and even ended up living in South Africa for several years which was a wonderful experience. I now look forward to a long and leisurely retirement doing what I like most - gardening, photography, walking and travelling.

    1. Thank you Pete. Storm finished over there? Rained here during the night and dull today, but at least all my plants got a good soaking which they needed 🙂

    1. So many flowers could have fitted that theme Jo. I have a few photos which could have fitted this one too, but I saw these whilst looking for something else and thought that I’d like to post them. Should have gone on the flower blog really, but I thought I’d see how well they go down on here 🙂

      1. They’re really beautiful. I’ve referred a couple of people to your benches recently. Will get around to ‘ process’ eventually. What follows? 🙂

        1. Thank you for that. 🙂 It’s a rainy day again so I could transform a bench or two… after I’ve done my ‘walking’. Happy Sunday! 🙂

        2. I have a few walks for you that I have to write up (once I get settled) but off on a garden tour today around town, and I do have another garden walk for you tomorrow 🙂

    1. Warm and wet here in Ludlow too Dina, but my containers are very grateful – they were looking a bit dry on my return despite asking my neighbour to water them 😦

  1. I don’t get it, Jude: these beautiful photos show me only various kinds of water-lily that are as lovely as their images. So – ‘off-centre’ ?

    1. I know, it’s a fine line, but each image is a little to one side so not quite centred! But then I rarely centre an image so nothing new there.

        1. Well it is OK to break the rules now and then, but I know what you are saying. How’s the website coming on? Or shouldn’t I ask about that either? 😀
