I have lived in the UK for most of my life, but when young I definitely had wanderlust and even ended up living in South Africa for several years which was a wonderful experience. I now look forward to a long and leisurely retirement doing what I like most - gardening, photography, walking and travelling.

Such a lovely crisp, clean colours, love the little fluffy one…
I can’t find any information on that little one, but it is very sweet. Nymphaea thermarum is a very tiny one, but not frilly.
Beautiful, Jude. I especially love the header image. 🙂
I imagine you are seeing loads of lotus flowers over there in China.
I see that I was right about the lotus flowers 😉
Yes, you’re definitely right about the lotus flowers, Jude. We have tons of them all over the college campus right now. They’re quite lovely. 🙂
Lovely! Enjoy your garden tour today.
Thanks! Just about to head off. Sky a perfect blue at 6 am but cloudy now though the sun is still shining. Hope to see some beauties 🙂 And it is a good excuse for a nosey behind some of these houses 😉
I love nosing into private gardens.
Really pretty!
Thanks Aletta 🙂
So very beautiful, Jude! 🙂
Kew Gardens is an incredible space in London Amy. Have you been there?
I have been London twice, didn’t get a chance to visit gardens. Maybe, next time.
Well there is always so much to see in London, but if you do get the chance, particularly in springtime, then I am sure you’d enjoy it.
Will do. Thank you, Jude.
Beautifully photographed. Off centre is generally better than centred for these kind of photos.
They are gorgeous – if in the middle or not!
And the middles are very pretty too 🙂
