I have lived in the UK for most of my life, but when young I definitely had wanderlust and even ended up living in South Africa for several years which was a wonderful experience. I now look forward to a long and leisurely retirement doing what I like most - gardening, photography, walking and travelling.

  1. Gorgeous mussel shells Jude. Did you take that photo in NZ? We arrived at my daughters place this afternoon (Tauranga) for a weekend stay and when she gets home from the office/depot she is bringing fresh caught fish for dinner straight from the trawlers.

    1. Well you’ve probably eaten that fish by now! Hope it was good. You must get some good fish and seafood in Queensland though don’t you? The bowl of mussels in my picture were in Marazion, Cornwall, with a view over the bay. Sublime… life cannot get much better than that. 🙂
