Perfectly framed…

Ailsa is looking for natural frames this week, this one is from Canberra where I spotted the unusual statue through this hole in the wall.

I have lived in the UK for most of my life, but when young I definitely had wanderlust and even ended up living in South Africa for several years which was a wonderful experience. I now look forward to a long and leisurely retirement doing what I like most - gardening, photography, walking and travelling.

  1. Nice to see a framed shot through a circle for a change, Jude. The palm plant is a great image too, like an exploding firework.
    Regards as always, Pete. x

  2. G’day Jude I had to look carefully to see the little statue, very clever framing, and the burst of the palm is like a firework explosion.

    1. As yesterday was Bonfire night here in the UK, fireworks is most appropriate PP. To be honest I hadn’t noticed the sculpture until later – this was taken at the National Museum in Canberra.
