I have lived in the UK for most of my life, but when young I definitely had wanderlust and even ended up living in South Africa for several years which was a wonderful experience. I now look forward to a long and leisurely retirement doing what I like most - gardening, photography, walking and travelling.

I love the symmetry and peacefulness of this image. I almost feel as if I am in the picture under a hot sun watching the world slowly go by. Beautiful!

I was looking for something else and what escapes me now! Anyway I spotted this and thought, yes, this needs to be posted 😀
Other blog will start on Monday, but I haven’t taken any new macros recently as it has done nothing but rain, or be windy – two elements that are not in favour for macros. I should have a go at indoor photography, but mind not on it at the moment. Stressing over the move 😦
Sounding like you need a cuddle! This morning was beautiful and I was out round a reservoir. Monday was lovely too and I’m going to use the pics from that for a ‘farewell’ post. Yes, it has been very wet and windy in between times. No stressing, Jude! It won’t help. Send me an e and tell me your troubles. 🙂 I’m still smiling from watching Rafa yesterday 🙂

Moving can take up an incredible amount of time. Good look hope it is going well for you. I’ll watch for your macro blog. We leave for Sydney via Armidale where I have picked up a mini house sit on the way to Sydney. We are having a heat wave over here…
That is amazingly peaceful for India. Brings back memories. Like the BnW it makes it timeless.
Behind the Taj – the crowds were behind me. I just spotted these beasts being herded along the street and thought it was such a contrast to the opulence of the tomb.
