Wordless Wednesday: Best foot forward

I have lived in the UK for most of my life, but when young I definitely had wanderlust and even ended up living in South Africa for several years which was a wonderful experience. I now look forward to a long and leisurely retirement doing what I like most - gardening, photography, walking and travelling. View all posts by Heyjude
What a great shot, Jude. B & W adds to its impact.
The B+W gives it the feel that it could have been taken a long time ago. (Until you notice the Zimmer Frame…)
Regards as always, Pete. x
Haha.. yes, shame about that, and the electric lights!
Good point, Pete…..it needs airbrushing out and replacing with a walking stick!!
Should have thought of that!
😀😀
Great photo – black and white is perfect for it.
This is fab Jude, where and when did you take it?
Thanks Gilly. Outside the Taj Mahal, 2008
I thought it probably wasn’t in your local high street. 🙂
We..ell, actually there was a cattle attack in our street not long after we moved here.
A clever title for this photo Jude.
I noticed that they are walking in synchronisation, all leading with their right leg.
Excellent shot.
Thanks DJ. Having seen your fabulous B&W images I was motivated to look at some of mine to convert. This one grabbed me. No negative space though 😀
Oh I’m happy to hear that! It’s a cool shot.
I wish we could do a meet up and go take some shots together.
That would be fun. You never know! Though my son is in Perth now, so the chances of my going to Melbourne are slim.
Well I do travel to Perth for work!
I shall let you know!
As if the bulls themselves weren’t odd enough to be walking down this street, it is the guy in the background with the walker watching them go by.
For some reason, the juxtapositioning of that guy cracks me up 🙂
As usual, I was concentrating on the animals and didn’t even notice the bloke in the background!
Love it! Synchronised cows….
Very clever title, Jude. The walker just adds to the moment, not to mention the bicycle adorning the second buffalo. 🙂
Ah, no time to remove the extra props!
It all adds to the fun. 😄
What a lot of bullocks. Sorry, couldn’t resist. Great pic.
Had to be someone!
