Wordless Wednesday: December

I have lived in the UK for most of my life, but when young I definitely had wanderlust and even ended up living in South Africa for several years which was a wonderful experience. I now look forward to a long and leisurely retirement doing what I like most - gardening, photography, walking and travelling. View all posts by Heyjude
Santa on a horse, in a jigsaw piece. That’s a first for me, Jude.
Regards as always, Pete. x
And a very Happy New Year to you and the OH, in case I miss it. x
Our New Year celebrations are even quieter than our Christmas ones! More likely to be a cup of cocoa than bubbly 😉
The Boxing Day Hunt…
I like the puzzle piece! Happy New Year to you!
Thank you 🙂
You’ll think I’m crazy but whenever i see a hunt bad language bursts out of my mouth all on its own!
You had fun with this edit didn’t you?
Not at all crazy, unfortunately Shropshire is very rural and the hunt a big part of the country way of life. Not mine I hasten to add. And they don’t chase foxes now, unless one ‘happens’ to get discovered by the dogs. I really wanted to get a photo of the whole pack but forgot (again) until I heard the horn blow! I wish they’d get rid of it altogether, but with the Conservatives in charge I doubt that will ever happen.
I’m disappointed! I thought he was being escorted out of town in disgrace 🙂 But I like the jigsaw 🙂
Really bad photo as I just shot through the window (dirty and raindrops) as the hunt passed by below. Annoyed I missed the chance to capture it.
Love this creative image, Jude. 🙂 I saw Santa in a van, which wasn’t nearly as glam.
Now that’s a creative shot! Sorry it’s connected to a hunt but looks like a lovely village. All the best for a peaceful 2016.
All part and parcel of country life [sigh] but you don’t see too many Santas riding on a horse! Figured it ended the year here in Ludlow quite nicely. Have a good 2016 yourself, let’s hope for much more peace in the world.
Very clever shot! Happy new year
