I’m feeling optimistic about a garden in the near future!
I have lived in the UK for most of my life, but when young I definitely had wanderlust and even ended up living in South Africa for several years which was a wonderful experience. I now look forward to a long and leisurely retirement doing what I like most - gardening, photography, walking and travelling. View all posts by Heyjude

I wish I could feel as optimistic about my garden, Jude. I think it will take the rest of the year to dry out!
Regards as always, Pete. x
A bit wet in the driest county then Pete?
Dry yesterday, rain again tonight. More mud on the mud! x
Maybe time to get rid of the lawn?
lovely
Oh YAY!
😀
Actually I’ll have that one in your header pic thanks 🙂 It’s GORGEOUS
Mmmm… that’s not bad, but in the wrong direction to where I am going.
And where might that be?
South-west tip of England. You can’t get much further west without falling off a cliff.
Cornwall! Loads of gorgeous stuff to photograph there. And you can have tea with Chillbrook, the landscape maestro!
He is indeed, his photos are in a different league entirely to mine; maybe I can get some tips from him?
Wise minds think alike 🙂 I’d love a crash course with Adrian, his photos are remarkable. But hey, you and I are almost there you know!
Gardens give so much pleasure. I’m sure you will. 😀
It is getting closer 🙂
*grin*
Oh, wonderful, Jude! I’m rooting for you and your garden
Rooting… love it!
Very punny, eh?!
😉
Just a couple more months. Spring will be here before you know it!
Here’s to spring and your beautiful garden. Not too much optomism here yet. 🙂
That’s a good start.
It’s not the one in your header, is it? Fight you for it, if so 🙂 🙂
Ah, no, that one was in Kirkcudbright, but it does look a bit Cornish 🙂
Just as well. I’m not good at fighting 🙂
You can have this one 🙂
Such generosity! I wonder what the owners would say 🙂
