Playing with the editing software to create this orb is a lot of fun.

I have lived in the UK for most of my life, but when young I definitely had wanderlust and even ended up living in South Africa for several years which was a wonderful experience. I now look forward to a long and leisurely retirement doing what I like most - gardening, photography, walking and travelling.

Oh yes, and fun for us to look at the result.
What software did you use Jude?
Photoshop, Debbie. Next one I do I will post the instructions.
Oh, I used to have something on the iPad that did this kind of thing, sometimes with startling results….but I don’t remember what it was
This is done with Photoshop; I guess there must be apps that do it automatically.
Ah, you did it the hard way….
Seems like it, but it’s not that hard 🙂
😀😀
I am glad that you showed the original, as I would never have guessed. Might work well with large buildings too. I am thinking of St Paul’s, or similar.
Regards as always, Pete. x
Works well if you have sticky-out bits, so yes, probably 🙂
Thanks for making me smile, Jude. That looks like a lot of fun. 🙂
It looks like a glass paperweight!
Great colours! As to how: almost any photo editing programm will do this. I often use PhotoScape (it’s a freeware and it is a lot less complicated than photoshop having a LOT LESS features but often I don’t need more).
I don’t have the full PS only Elements and I am used to it now. I do use some free software too. Not tried PhotoScape so I shall have to look at that one 🙂
If you can handle Photoshop – all power to you. But I thought some people who read here might be frightened off by the programm. There are many alternatives. 🙂
I thought it was a G & T or a Caipirinha. Wishful thinking 🙂
I like your thinking… 🙂
Hmm! Have to look for a cocktail place in Edinburgh 🙂 🙂 Just finished doing a heap of chores. Time off for good behaviour.
I hate chores, they never go away. I’ve done a clean up after the family left and that will do for a while 🙂
A hypnotic conversion 🙂 These are lovely chairs and the surroundings!
It is something I hope to replicate in my own garden; sadly I don’t have the space for the rest of the garden!
Methinks you are maybe having just a wee bit too much fun, Jude. 🙂
