A Black and White Sunday

I have lived in the UK for most of my life, but when young I definitely had wanderlust and even ended up living in South Africa for several years which was a wonderful experience. I now look forward to a long and leisurely retirement doing what I like most - gardening, photography, walking and travelling. View all posts by Heyjude
black and white is a golden elegance…
Hmm, a while since that was seaworthy! But lovely monochrome capture, Jude
Thanks Sue, the B&W works well with the textures.
Indeed!
Beautiful shot. Regards Stef
Great photo, Jude. I would have loved to play in that as a child, imagining everything from shipwrecks to pirates. 🙂
Best wishes, Pete. x
Looks as though it could have been there since your childhood Pete!
I love shots of old boats, and this one looks seriously dilapidated and marooned.
I snuffled this one for Joe. He loves wooden boats. It’s a magnificent shot.
Snaffled! Predictive and poor editing skills aren’t a good mix.
I rather like snuffled 😉
A little old boat dreaming of going to sea.
I suppose one day it will be washed out to sea, all broken up.
It has a fragile look but must be sturdier than it seems! I’d have loved to have played in it too.
