There are over 800 different types of post boxes in the UK alone. Perhaps you have an unusual one to share? If you do then please post it and link to this one in the comments or via a pingback. I’d love to see it.

Heyjude

I have lived in the UK for most of my life, but when young I definitely had wanderlust and even ended up living in South Africa for several years which was a wonderful experience. I now look forward to a long and leisurely retirement doing what I like most - gardening, photography, walking and travelling.

  1. You said you’d post them one day and now you’ve done it. They’re fab Jude and I bet you have more up your sleeve. I always keep my eyes open now and only recently noticed that the one 50 yards from home is Victorian. Sadly it needs painting, it’s faded to pink, I suppose they only bother with maintaining the town centre ones.

  2. Oh I love these! Especially the queen posting a letter. And gold!!!!! I have posted one very cool one many moons ago… I will see if I can find it….
