No editing required. This image was taken on 6th January 2010 in Haslemere on the Surrey/West Sussex/Hampshire county borders. Not a place known for snow other than half a dozen flakes that barely settle on the ground, The lady in the red coat was a such a pop of colour on this monochromatic day.
Almost A Black and White Sunday

I have lived in the UK for most of my life, but when young I definitely had wanderlust and even ended up living in South Africa for several years which was a wonderful experience. I now look forward to a long and leisurely retirement doing what I like most - gardening, photography, walking and travelling. View all posts by Heyjude
That is a fabulous shot! I always worry that I can’t pull off a coat that Bright. I have a super bright blue one but rarely wear it. She does it very well.
When it is that cold anything that looks warm is a winner in my book!
Hahaha very true!
Fabulous shot, Jude. I’m moving photos to a hard drive and found photos of Jan 2010, walking along Southbank in the snow, on way to work. Globe theatre, St Paul’s. It’s good to look back through the archives 🙂
That is amazing Jude. Well spotted, a real winner.
Thank you!
Great photo! 🙂
