I have lived in the UK for most of my life, but when young I definitely had wanderlust and even ended up living in South Africa for several years which was a wonderful experience. I now look forward to a long and leisurely retirement doing what I like most - gardening, photography, walking and travelling.

I like blue sky. White here today, but nothing happening. So far.
Slight snow flurries here, and looking out it looks windy…..
The Golden Gate is beautiful, but this was “my” bridge when I lived in Berkeley and Oakland: the one that carried me every week to what we simply called “the City.” You may or may not know the musical group Tower of Power, but this was the cover of their fourth album called “Back to Oakland.”
It is an impressive bridge.
