I have lived in the UK for most of my life, but when young I definitely had wanderlust and even ended up living in South Africa for several years which was a wonderful experience. I now look forward to a long and leisurely retirement doing what I like most - gardening, photography, walking and travelling.

    1. Clever of you to think that as it was taken in Australia when I was over there and came down with a rotten cold. Plenty of vitamin C courtesy of large bags of oranges 🙂

        1. Not sure if anything works for a cold, it just has to work its way through the system, but the oranges and the grapefruit tasted wonderful and were so juicy and refreshing.

      1. Phew . . . . . as I was beginning to panic about some of the ones I have scheduled in the days ahead! Already changed one day, and thinking there are two more not up to the standard being set by everyone else.

        1. Mine are very focused on details so not many landscapes/portraits. This I spotted when looking for photos for my other themes this year and thought it was such a good circle image with the orange halves, the squeezer and the tumbler. Only saw the circles on the glass when I previewed the post. I suppose I could get creative with a grapefruit 😀

    1. Only a sandwich, with a lovely view over Mounts Bay. Raining heavily here now. We have had showers on and off all day with hailstones too!
