March Square | Squaring the Circle

Another of my favourites, but the best is yet to come…

Five days left to join in with Becky’s (“A life of a 40 something”) March challenge of square photographs with the theme:

  1. Squared Squares’ – think multiple squares and squares within squares
  2. Squaring the Circle’ – the perfect post will be a circle within a square

Heyjude

I have lived in the UK for most of my life, but when young I definitely had wanderlust and even ended up living in South Africa for several years which was a wonderful experience. I now look forward to a long and leisurely retirement doing what I like most - gardening, photography, walking and travelling.

        1. Belted Galloway don’t have the white face and they are beef cattle. This was near to a cheese shop so I imagine it is a dairy cow. I’m no expert either, but know a bit more since moving next to a cattle farm!

  1. A bit strange Jude, but I like it, as it has the colouring of a Belted Galloway, as Sue said, but the body of a Friesian. I was a milk maid in a former life!!! Maybe a belted Friesian… (I made that up)

    1. Perhaps the artist made this one up too! As far as I know Belted Galloways have black faces and are not used for milking.
