Is THIS the perfect Post? It definitely meets Becky’s criteria of a squared circle. It has been such fun searching through my archives for these photos and I have started seeing squares and circles everywhere. Thanks to Becky I have become somewhat addicted to the square format and even altered my camera settings to 1:1 so you will be seeing a lot more squares on my blogs.
Thank you Becky for a fun month š
And thanks to everyone who has kindly liked and commented on all my posts. It is very much appreciated.

Perfection!
What a beautiful mural. Did you take it specially or is this one of the many delights to be found in your treasure trove archives.
PS and thank you again so much for being part of Squares. You’re one of only a few who have been with me since our first one last September, and it is a daily inspiration having you play along.
Your square challenges have been right up my street Becky. I can think of several other subjects, but I’ll keep them to myself and see what you have planned next š
Ooh I need to come and see you so we can discuss subjects in person, your ideas maybe better than my current idea.
Email me?
I will x
Treasure trove! Found whilst looking for some American Postcards. And I figured it totally matched your description for squaring the circle š
Certainly does š
I have had a few days when I left my camera on 1:1. Something about replicating the 6X6 format is pleasing to the eye.
This last one is definitely one of the best, Jude.
Best wishes, Pete. x
Thank you Pete, your comments are always well received. I am glad you have enjoyed these as much as I have.
Fab-u-lous!!
I kept swapping around the last one as I found more and more images. But I think this is one of the best.
It squarely (or even curvily) hits the nail on the head, Jude!!
That’s a stunner, Jude! Where did you find it? No clues in the tags. š š Shall you be eating cake with your hot chocolate?
Glad you mentioned the tags…..I didn’t dare š
Oh, I bet you did! š š
I’m not that scary am i?
Hee hee – no of course not but am glad Jo asked first!
Hot cross buns Jo. Selling cheap at ASDA. Didn’t go for the hot chocolate, but did buy some to eat at home (chocolate that is, not the drink). And the photo comes from San Fran in the Ferry Building market along with the cow a few days ago. it is a fabulous market with all sorts of wonderful stalls.
Ate the last one (Mick’s, but not while he was painting š ) not long since. A lasting regret that I never made San Fran.
Still time. Although I did struggle a bit on my last trip it is a sensational city and one of the nicest, I think, in the US. I wouldn’t mind going back. Maybe I can take my daughter in a few years time. Although we still have to ‘do’ New York.
I’ve not ‘done’ NYC either. Weren’t you all set to go at one point? Did Barcelona instead? š
Yes. I promised her NY for her 40th birthday as I couldn’t afford it for her 18th, but she could only get a few days away and it is soo expensive now, no cheap flights, we decided to stick to Europe instead of wasting 2 days travelling. Maybe I’ll manage her 45th š
That is pretty darn perfect. And perfectly aligned too, which can be very difficult!
Perfect indeed. Very clever!
Thank you. Should thank the person who created it too.
So true! Do you know him/her?
Not at all!
Nice one, Jude! I’ve really enjoyed seeing all the mosaics being posted. The workmanship has been amazing.
Agreed, Such a lot of work goes into mosaics.
Definitely the ultimate in squares and circles. Phew you can take a rest now…
You saved the best for last! That’s intricate tilework.
And in the San Fran ferry building. A wonderful market there. Did you visit?
Sadly the tiles are not my work!
Yes, a few times. A working ferry terminal and a lovely gourmet food market, as you say.
