I have lived in the UK for most of my life, but when young I definitely had wanderlust and even ended up living in South Africa for several years which was a wonderful experience. I now look forward to a long and leisurely retirement doing what I like most - gardening, photography, walking and travelling.

Nice dome, Jude. I thought I might see more of these.
Best wishes, Pete. x
I have a few, but have been trying to vary my styles of roof. I must say, this classical style is so lovely.
Rather a flash roof for a bank!!
Might not even be a bank now. So many closed recently in St Ives. Getting harder to find a cash machine!
So now we’ll have to rely on Cashback….
Well at least the ATMs are still at the supermarkets, but it is annoying if you are in a town or village. Some shops are even refusing to accept cash now too!
Grrrrr…..
Well that’s a fancy roof! Hope it is still a bank. I try and use cash most times now, think it’s bonkers this move to card only.
Indeed. We have seen what happens when technology fails!
Sweden 3/ 4years was leading the way on cashless society but in past year have done a U-turn saying it’s too risky. Wish UK was as sensible.
We do seem hell bent on closing all financial institutions. And other shops. Leaving ourselves vulnerable to cyber attacks or electricity failures. So much is done online that having broadband issues affects everything you do.
I find it so odd that most people under 40 don’t seem to grasp this . . . and as for our government!
All governments seem alike to me. In it for their own self-importance and not that of the people. I vote we bring back the Queen as the ruler and she can say “orf with their heads” and let the people eat cake 😀 😀
Sounds good to me!
That’s a very grand roof for a bank. 🙂
Not many of those left these days.
