Becky’s September square photo challenge Day 16! She would like us to share photos which embrace ‘pink’ – there could be pink in the photo, the subject or photographer could be ‘tickled pink’*, or indeed looking ‘in the pink’*. A photo that manages to do all three things is the ultimate offering.
Sunrise through the bathroom window
*‘in the pink’ means in perfect condition, or in good health, and ‘tickled pink’ means delighted.
September Squares | Pink
Good start to the day!
The one and only sunrise featured on here I believe! (If you click on the sunrise tag it takes you to what it looked like outside).
Oh, OK!
I would never have credited just how much pink there is in the world. 🙂
I continue to be amazed how you all keep finding it for this challenge.
Best wishes, Pete. x
It is astonishing how much there is around us!
It gets everywhere!
Your bathroom? Who’d have thought you’d have pink curtains, Jude. 🙂 🙂
And pink walls 😀
Naturally 🙂 🙂 I have pink living room carpet, pink flowered 3 piece, cream and poppy wallpaper and a contrast pink wall running up the staircase, which is at the back of the living room. But not for much longer 😦
Ahem… that is a LOT of pink. I was, of course kidding – my curtains (actually a tablecloth) and walls were only that shade because of the sunrise colours. I’m afraid all my walls are white. 😀
D’you know, I had a feeling that was the case. Suckered again! 🙂 🙂 Feel free to come and continue the pink challenge here.
I’m waiting for the photos of your carpet and sofa now!
Some day soon 🙂 🙂 I never did send you photos of the garden but it hardly matters now.
There is a pink wall in my study, not my choice .. . . .a left over from when it was one of my stepdaughters bedrooms and rather than paint over we’ve simply covered it in books!
Hee hee, suspect she doesn’t!!
ooh just got further down she doesn’t! But as for you Jo we want to see the photos!!!
I don’t 🙂 All my walls are white. And the ones in my previous house where this was taken was a jasmine white and the one before that was all white too! Though I am contemplating a soft yellow for the lounge / kitchen in this house 🙂
soft yellow sounds lovely 🙂
Perfect for the challenge – who’d have thought a curtained window would feature this month!
And a sunrise! From me anyway 😉
This is a lovely photo – an indication of a glorious day to come I suspect.
“Red sky in the morning, shepherds’ warning. ” No, it turned to rain☹
Darn!
