This month Becky (the Queen of Squares) has challenged us to find lines. In Squares naturally. That is the only proper ‘rule’. I have been dipping into the archives for this one, as well as finding local lines.
Fishing Lines
October Squares | Day Nine
Fence lines and fishing lines!
True! It was the fishing lines I wanted, but two for the price π
Why not, eh?!
and shadow lines, the horizon and concrete lines so I make it five for the price!
It looks like a very peaceful scene. π
An insane sky and we have just had one very much like that, the most amazing thunderstorm!
Did you manage to get any lighting photos? Just thinking they might be useful for the lines challenge… π π
ooh now that’s a good thought. I wonder if anyone will
Only lightning I have seen recently was the sheet kind and too quick to capture.
Shame it wasn’t the forked kind – some people get great photos of that (not me though!).
Nice capture, Jude!
They were very absorbed in their hobby despite that ominous sky approaching.
It’s great to be so absorbed! π
Good choice for the theme. I hadn’t thought of fishing lines. π
Best wishes, Pete. x
I am trying to think a bit more laterally, but most of my lines are quite obvious ones.
nothing wrong with obvious π
Herne Bay! Don’t think I’ve ever been there. Looks rather nice π€β±οΈπ
Mmm… I wasn’t very impressed. Prefer Broadstairs.
We have ‘friends’ there. Don’t know when I saw them last π
Nice one Jude, I love the sky π
Wow what a sky, not sure I’d be sitting there so relaxed!
PS Umbrella did not work yesterday. I got soaked thanks to a zooming car and very big rainstorm!
Uh oh!
I may have said something stronger than that!!
I bet you did.
I wish there was a way to report drivers who do this.
Youβve certainly packed the lines in!
You are clever, combining several different lines in one photo. Did you take it specially or was it already in your collection? Either way nicely done!
One from the archives Carol. It actually probably looks better in the original wide angle format as then you see the end of the pier.
