This month Becky (the Queen of Squares) has challenged us to find lines. In Squares naturally. That is the only proper ‘rule’. I have been dipping into the archives for this one, as well as finding local lines.

October Squares | Day 11

I have lived in the UK for most of my life, but when young I definitely had wanderlust and even ended up living in South Africa for several years which was a wonderful experience. I now look forward to a long and leisurely retirement doing what I like most - gardening, photography, walking and travelling.

Yes, it’s perfect for square lines but where is that??
Customs House Library Circular Quay, I used it a lot for the free wi-fi and it is a lovely building too. https://www.cityofsydney.nsw.gov.au/explore/libraries/locations/circular-quay
Thanks. Noted. ๐
Nice one!
Brilliant lines . . and loving how the kid is on the transparent glass but the adults are sticking to the opaque!
It’s weird on the glass floor, you are looking down on a model of Sydney if I remember correctly.
ooh I presume it was floor below . . .how amazing. In a museum or mall?
Library – link in my reply to Heather’s comment
ahha . . .will take a peek
What a fabulous take for this challenge. Sydney is somewhere I would like to go back to.
There is a lot to like in Sydney.
Thanks Heather for asking the question โ and Jude for answering. Somewhere for me to explore next time Iโm in Sydney.
Great choice for lines and squares, Jude. Spot on! ๐
Best wishes, Pete.
Yes, it’s a model of Sydney under the glass floor – I didn’t go into the library though on my visit as part of the Sydney walking tour.
A great place for the free WiFi and newspapers.
I’ll remember that for next time. ๐
I recognise the floor of Custom House. That area has undergone some renovation recently.
It’s a great place to chill out and use the WiFi and read the papers.
I was puzzled about the location, but when I read what it was I had an “aha!” moment. That city model is so clever.
