This month Becky (the Queen of Squares) has challenged us to find lines. In Squares naturally. That is the only proper ‘rule’. I have been dipping into the archives for this one, as well as finding local lines.

October Squares | Day 21

I have lived in the UK for most of my life, but when young I definitely had wanderlust and even ended up living in South Africa for several years which was a wonderful experience. I now look forward to a long and leisurely retirement doing what I like most - gardening, photography, walking and travelling.

Snowy railway lines. It won’t be long until we see those again, and hear about ‘the wrong kind of snow’.
Nice atmosphere, Jude.
Best wishes, Pete. x
Noooooooo! I don’t want the news to have snow reports!
Me neither! ๐ฆ
I sincerely hope not down here! I’m still in shock from the ‘beast from the east’ last year!
At least you have that Cornish ‘micro-climate’, Jude. ๐
Great lines Jude, although a tad too chilly for me!
The winter of 2010 – in Surrey! Some of the kids I taught then had never seen snow before.
wow, yes remember it. My eldest stepdaughter has just arrived back from her travels in the east and we had to dig out her wellingtons!
Brrr. Lovely shot Jude.
Oh, you bad girl! It’s much too early in the year to subject me to this ๐ ๐
Well you are hardly likely to see any!
How you doing? Last day here and just waiting for them to get organised before we venture out. ๐ ๐
I have a conservatory to finish off, someone promised to do it, but has spent much of the last week sleeping! Enjoy the rest of the time with them. Do they fly back tonight?
Yes. What happens next with him?
All will be revealed soon, we hope.
I love this โค
