Seeing Red

the National Museum of Australia, Canberra

This photo was taken of my son and eldest granddaughter just over five years ago when I visited her home town of Canberra. We spent the day visiting several of the capital city’s many free museums and galleries of which this was a favourite of mine. I found it particularly amusing that Miki was wearing a T-shirt with the logo “Offspring” on it. And had red hair at the time!

(This could also be a bonus square for Becky – Slatted-light or filtered-light be OK?)

Heyjude

I have lived in the UK for most of my life, but when young I definitely had wanderlust and even ended up living in South Africa for several years which was a wonderful experience. I now look forward to a long and leisurely retirement doing what I like most - gardening, photography, walking and travelling.

  1. Keeping you out of mischief! I had a trawl through for red images too, last night, but they don’t fit with today’s theme. Watching Medvedev and Wawrinka go at it hammer and tongs, and there will definitely be sparks flying when Rafa takes to the court with Kyrios shortly. Heart will be in mouth! 🙂 🙂

    1. Should be an interesting match. Annoyingly when they showed tennis yesterday they spent time yacking about Coco instead of showing play, did catch some of Fed though and he looks in good form.

  2. LOL for your second shot’s red😊Jude! And your first is perfect for the challenge. Glad to see you join us for this one!

    1. Mik’s hair colour changes with the wind! Purple, blue, red, orange! One day it will all fall out! My youngest grandson has natural red hair as did my dad.
