This week’s challenge from the Lens Artists is a different one: Tina would like us to search for specific items from the archives
Challenge Items: Sunrise and/or sunset, Something cold and/or hot, a bird, a dog, a funny sign, a bicycle, a seascape and/or mountain landscape, a rainbow, a church, a musical instrument, a boat, a plane, a waterfall
Extra Credit Items: An expressive portrait of one or more people, a very unusual place, knitting or sewing, a fish, an animal you don’t normally see, a bucket, a hammer, a street performer, a double rainbow, multiple challenge items in a single image.
I have thousands of images in my archives, so I went searching, looking for the more unusual items that could meet the brief. If you click on an image you can go through the gallery and read further information about each image.
Well that brought back a few memories. Nothing for sewing though.
(the header image is of my three youngest grandchildren who were playing at driving a car on the beach in 2017 – Luca then aged 16 months, Isla aged 2yrs and Lorenzo aged 3yrs.)
Lens-Artists Photo Challenge #85 | Treasure Hunt
What a great collection. That’s quite some photo, the rainbow. And well done for not being defeated as I was, by the hammer.
Ah, but sewing defeated me, although I bet I have a photo of embroidery somewhere and in fact I could take a photo of a cloth my mother embroidered!
You and me both ..
The kids is such a perfect portrait, Jude! They will have grown. 🙂 🙂
They have indeed Jo. Little Lorenzo started school this month and Isla started last September! They aren’t babies for long.
Fab collection…love those grandies , the expressive portrait and the funny sign!
Thanks Sue, this was fun.
😊😊
Yep…….nailed it Jude 🙂
Thanks Brian 😁
A great selection, Jude. I enjoyed the ‘Dung Beetles’ sign! 🙂
Best wishes, Pete.
Rather less intimidating than the beware of the lions 😳
Super job Jude, you did very well! Loved your little ones and the expressive portrait, and the hammer shot could also double as a funny sign(altho I did really love your choice on that one😊). As for sewing, I think that one was sewing OR knitting, which you nailed). Terrific, thanks for getting into it with us!
I thoroughly enjoyed this one Tina, I hope you’ll do it again!
The portrait of little ones, priceless! Great selection, Jude.
Thank you for sharing with us!
They were so funny to watch! Not sure about their driving skills though, you have to wonder who they were copying 😁
Terrific collection. That double rainbow is amazing.
That rainbow appeared during a particularly heavy hailstorm in Ludlow, I just had to get outside and take a photo.
Excellent variety. LOVE the kid shots. I empathize with the Public Notice sign. I’m still looking, but it sure is dark in here.
I thought that last sign was most appropriate John, we certainly could do with some good news!
What a great way to spend a wet and rainy day jude and I bet it brought back so many memories
It was fun PP and goes to show just how many snapshots I have!
