Life in Colour

I have lived in the UK for most of my life, but when young I definitely had wanderlust and even ended up living in South Africa for several years which was a wonderful experience. I now look forward to a long and leisurely retirement doing what I like most - gardening, photography, walking and travelling. View all posts by Heyjude
What a fine bird to finish with. Looking forward to a new colour though, and hoping that at least one of my TreeSquare is of the right shade!
That might be tricky!
Oooh, now I’m wondering what on earth the colour is going to be for July. I’ve got some unusual trees planned, so fingers crossed one will fit!
I could possibly dig one out!
more and more intriguing, and also exciting!
Oh, very cute! Reminds me of last summer’s misguided visit to a water park here. The bird show was the highlight π π
Ah, yes, cockatoos can be cheeky chappies. And noisy!

June was a cracker of a month so I am glad that Polly had a showing ππ
I have done a bonus as well in the schedules π π
Thanks for all your photos Brian!

Oh, heβs rather a handsome bonus!
Cheeky, noisy birds. My daughter’s neighbour used to breed them!
Oh, OK π
Thos birds are such a lovely brilliant white.
Best wishes, Pete. x
They are indeed. I rather like the black cockatoos.
I will for sure! Love your white bird!
Thanks Traudel
Lovely photo Jude!
Thank you, I’m sure you see lots of these birds around!
We certainly do! Canβt miss them as they are so noisy. I saw a flock of around 20 birds a couple of days ago.
Beautiful photo to end your month of white and silver colours. π
Here is my final entry. Enjoy.
Thank you Cee π
That makes me smile, Jude, but “sulphur” although apt, doesn’t sound as good as it looks. π The bird looks so pleased with itself or life in general or both.
