I have lived in the UK for most of my life, but when young I definitely had wanderlust and even ended up living in South Africa for several years which was a wonderful experience. I now look forward to a long and leisurely retirement doing what I like most - gardening, photography, walking and travelling.

Cognac of some sort? Looks very elegant.
Actually a Rose wine!

Meant to say cheers! Just having a post croquet bun and a cuppa. How’re you? π€π
Aching now after an afternoon of planting bulbs and finishing off the gravel garden – it’s a rainy week and today promised to be the best. It was!
That’s good! Not the aching π€£π Off out for supper.
Gosh I wish I went out to eat as much as you do! I’m off to the kitchen to make a lasagne!
What’s stopping you? Live somewhere civilised π€£π
Great photo Jude π π
Ta BB. I’m now wishing I had tried the wine.
A taste would have been a good option Jude π
You didnβt try it?? π³π’
So lovely!
A Sydney window display.
An evening glass… time for reflection..!
lovely on a hot day.
… or after a cold one!!!
I looked that wine up, and as you say, it is a Rose. It looks very golden though.
Best wishes, Pete. x
One of the wines from the Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie estate.
And a lovely bottle, the sort you’d want to keep hoping you could do something with it (remember the Chianti bottles)?
It is rather lovely and yes, I even have a Chianti bottle with a candle in it of course!
Thank you Cee! Hope you are able to join in next month – only 4 days to the new colour.
I can’t wait π π
The setting makes me think of the old alchemists. I hope your sore back is just a temporary protestation and soon better. Backache is a weary thing, as my grandma used to say. Mine’s playing up too.
