(This perennially popular rosé from the Miraval estate is a pretty shade of very pale peach. Expect aromas of peach, peach blossom, and watermelon. Crisp and extra dry with plenty of minerality, peach, nectarine, and some inklings of tropical fruits.)
I have lived in the UK for most of my life, but when young I definitely had wanderlust and even ended up living in South Africa for several years which was a wonderful experience. I now look forward to a long and leisurely retirement doing what I like most - gardening, photography, walking and travelling.

Oh dear – senior moment here …. I seriously can’t remember whether I linked my GOLD offering so rather than checking your posts Jude I’m going to add it here – apologies if I did so before!!!!
Well, I have no images I can easily find, but my idea of liquid gold would be a a botyritised Semillon, Sauternes? Or at a more inexpensive level, I tasted soma wonderful Jurançon doux….back in the day, I have no one to share such things with now….

Hi Jude, just managed to sneak in some autumnal gold for September 😃 https://jezbraithwaite.blog/2021/09/30/misty-mornings-golden-grass-and-blue-skies-overhead-lens-artists-challenge-167/
Thanks Jez. Much appreciated.
A whisky is sometimes known as a wee goldie. Had I only thought, I could have photographed our collection!
