Life in Colour

This month we will be looking for orange. One of the most vibrant colours, orange is zingy and fresh. It’s a warm colour, friendly and inviting. Soft at dawn, but louder at sunset. From the palest of peaches and apricots through to copper, rust, salmon-pink and terracotta, the range of orange shades in the natural world is phenomenal.

I have lived in the UK for most of my life, but when young I definitely had wanderlust and even ended up living in South Africa for several years which was a wonderful experience.     orange is the colour that is best seen from all the colours at daytime light. Its complimentary colour blue is seen as colour at the last colour in fading light before all colours turn grey. Orange is seen as warmest colour of all prismatic colours.
