October Squares

The October theme offers something for absolutely everybody – a chance to share past posts, past squares and glimpses of the past. I’m going to mix it up a bit, with photos that have appeared in previous Square challenges, some that didn’t make the final and some new photos that would have done. Day 12

Trees –  July 2021
Climbing Trees at Trelissick

If you want to join in either daily, weekly or just on the odd occasion then please visit Becky, the only rule is that the photo MUST be a square – that is four equal sides! You have been warned 😉

Heyjude

I have lived in the UK for most of my life, but when young I definitely had wanderlust and even ended up living in South Africa for several years which was a wonderful experience. I now look forward to a long and leisurely retirement doing what I like most - gardening, photography, walking and travelling.

    1. The kids were having a lot of fun. And the nice thing about this tree is there are a lot of fairly low branches to clamber over and around.

  1. Looks like they’re having lots of fun and those trees are perfect for climbing. My mom built us a lovely tree house when we were growing up and we enjoyed that immensely!

    1. When I saw the children playing I knew it would be a good tree square, though this was taken after the squares had finished. Somehow the challenges linger on in your head for longer!

  2. Lovely trees for children to enjoy. And it has reminded me of my cat Ellie learning to climb the very leaning branches of an old lilac. She looked so pleased with herself! 🙂
