The October theme offers something for absolutely everybody – a chance to share past posts, past squares and glimpses of the past. I’m going to mix it up a bit, with photos that have appeared in previous Square challenges, some that didn’t make the final and some new photos that would have done. Day 13
ROOFS – JuNE 2018 / Trees – July 2021

If you want to join in either daily, weekly or just on the odd occasion then please visit Becky, the only rule is that the photo MUST be a square – that is four equal sides! You have been warned 😉
Beautiful!
The sort of summer house at the end of the garden that I wouldn’t mind having!
I agree with you there! I just love those old buildings.
Lovely shot of a beautiful building and environs.
The colour of the stone (Hamstone) in this part of the country is truly gorgeous. This building would make a lovely writing or reading retreat.
It would although it would look ridiculous in our backyard. 😂😂
Oooh. This looks worth a visit.
I can’t say I was enamoured by the place, I like NT places for gardens first and foremost, this is mainly parkland and a bit of a formal garden. Should have gone to Tintinhull whilst we were close by.
Oh, OK. I guess I shan’t fetch up in Somerset any time soon anyway.
perhaps you can visit as and when we move there!
This roof has a lovely shape!
Hasn’t it just?
👍
oh isn’t this lovely – would be pretty fancy as a house let alone summer house!
A very small house!
I’m short!
It’s a very long time since I was last in Somerset. I always found it to be a county that couldn’t quite decide what it was. 🙂
Best wishes, Pete. x
I’ve been to Montacute House, in 2006. We had a lovely day there. It’s all so beautiful. Lovely photo, Jude.
A very fine building.
