The October theme offers something for absolutely everybody – a chance to share past posts, past squares and glimpses of the past. I’m going to mix it up a bit, with photos that have appeared in previous Square challenges, some that didn’t make the final and some new photos that would have done. Day 28
Circles – March 2018 / Spiky – March 2019 / Top – April 2020

If you want to join in either daily, weekly or just on the odd occasion then please visit Becky, the only rule is that the photo MUST be a square – that is four equal sides! You have been warned 😉
confusion is the perfect collective noun for them, they show no sense these beautiful birds!
Haha.. true, they rush around in all directions.
It’s a great collective term for pheasants too – they almost always seem to dash all over the place if you pass them on a road. (Luckily, we usually see them on narrow side roads where we’re going slowly anyway.)
This looks like a close photo-finish shot for the 100m dash, won by a beak.
It does rather! 😂
Hehe!
They taste a lot better than they look, that’s for sure.
Best wishes, Pete. x
I agree!
There’s a horse stud near us and I often go past on my morning walk. They have guinea fowl in one of the paddocks and they always go crazy as I walk by. Funny birds.
They are rather curious looking birds with their head adornments.
terrific photo!
