October Squares

The October theme offers something for absolutely everybody – a chance to share past posts, past squares and glimpses of the past. I’m going to mix it up a bit, with photos that have appeared in previous Square challenges, some that didn’t make the final and some new photos that would have done. Day 28

 Circles – March 2018 / Spiky – March 2019 / Top – April 2020
A confusion of helmeted guineafowl

If you want to join in either daily, weekly or just on the odd occasion then please visit Becky, the only rule is that the photo MUST be a square – that is four equal sides! You have been warned 😉

I have lived in the UK for most of my life, but when young I definitely had wanderlust and even ended up living in South Africa for several years which was a wonderful experience. I now look forward to a long and leisurely retirement doing what I like most - gardening, photography, walking and travelling.

    1. It’s a great collective term for pheasants too – they almost always seem to dash all over the place if you pass them on a road. (Luckily, we usually see them on narrow side roads where we’re going slowly anyway.)
