The October theme offers something for absolutely everybody – a chance to share past posts, past squares and glimpses of the past. I’m going to mix it up a bit, with photos that have appeared in previous Square challenges, some that didn’t make the final and some new photos that would have done. Day 29
Group – January 2021 / Pink – September 2018 / Blue – July 2019

If you want to join in either daily, weekly or just on the odd occasion then please visit Becky, the only rule is that the photo MUST be a square – that is four equal sides! You have been warned 😉
I think I remember this!
Not as a square, but possibly in an Aussie post. BTW I have just discovered that WIdgets now use the block editor! What a mess. I had duplicates all over my Cornish Blog and archives that went on forever. Just spent the last half hour sorting it out.
ah that’s probably was I was erring on the side of caution
and aargh on the WP side 😦
I know! I tried to install the classic widget plugin, but then get told only business users can install plugins! Shame on them.
that’s really not good 😦 beginning to feel like a campaign to get rid of their bloggers
I wouldn’t have known until I noticed that the archives was missing on Travel Words (your fault as I wanted to search for the nippers photo in previous squares).
hmmm maybe I better check mine once I am in Portugal. My month pull down menus work okay, and I still seem to have the post galleries so hopefully the widgets I have been using are ones post the changes
Only half hour? I might have needed a week! I steer clear of Widgets. Didn’t realise they were mini lifesavers till I read the comments. Happy weekend! All is finally peaceful here.
Peaceful? You?
Always 🤣💕
Colourful outfits. Was it a swimming club?
Best wishes, Pete.
Little Nippers are young surf lifesavers, usually aged between 5 and 14 years old. Clubs found in South Africa, Australia and New Zealand.
Awww, so cute!
I saw the image in the Reader (without context) and was going to comment “Oh my gosh, I didn’t know the UK had Little Nippers!” 😂
I wondered about that as Cornwall is such a surfing county. There are clubs in St Ives, Hayle and Newquay for 7 – 13 years old, but they are called Nippers.
Ready for an ocean day. Such a great program for children.
And clubs here in Cornwall too!
Excellent. Water confidence and knowledge is so important for children.
That’s a photo to make you smile. 🙂
Yes, so sweet and such a good programme for kiddies.
