Heyjude

I have lived in the UK for most of my life, but when young I definitely had wanderlust and even ended up living in South Africa for several years which was a wonderful experience. I now look forward to a long and leisurely retirement doing what I like most - gardening, photography, walking and travelling.

  1. What an amazing image, Jude – a wonderful way to start the final month of your year long celebration of colour; thank you so much for it – it’s been fun, so interesting and has helped celebrate how beautiful our world is!!

    1. When you look at colours in isolation it really changes the way you see things, I’m not sure that I actually compose a photograph based on colour, unless I set out with that intention.

      1. You are so right. I’m very early on in my journey of photography, but am so enjoying the way it is such a great vehicle for really looking at things – with a different eye; micro, macro, or perhaps tinted lenses – focusing on a particular colour in a scene or image… I’ve really enjoyed your colour challenge; thank you, Jude!
