I have lived in the UK for most of my life, but when young I definitely had wanderlust and even ended up living in South Africa for several years which was a wonderful experience. I now look forward to a long and leisurely retirement doing what I like most - gardening, photography, walking and travelling.

That’s very cute. I’m feeling quite wiped out myself this morning xx
That’s true! Although tbh I wasn’t so keen on a lot of American food, too salty. They do good breakfasts and cocktails though. Maybe not at the same time!
That’s well spotted, and a great use of half of a VW campervan.
Another good one! I like your idea of continuing. I meant to do more and have 130 red photos set aside but life has run away with me I’m afraid. Maybe I can slip a few in somewhere.

Too much red wine again 🤔
Probably white! And a lot of late nights xx
You’ve got such good ‘uns I think you’ll just have to continue.
I agree with Margaret – just extend July into August! Could always do rectangles in August 😉

I may have a bonus day…

That’s a beaut Jude
I thought it was rather clever. But then I have a soft spot for a kombi.
Same here. They were great travelling vans for beach holidays
oh isn’t this fabulous – hope what they served was as good as they looked!
Dunno. Didn’t buy anything, but I did enjoy wandering around the piers.
Peir 39 is such a fun place to visit. We had great clam chowder there.
I love Fisherman’s wharf, the piers are fabulous for strolling around.
What a find! Hope the food was good
Didn’t buy any food. Just took photos.
aaah
That looks fun! Did you sample the food?
Unfortunately not.
Well if you ate everything that looked tasty in the US you’d come back twice the size you went!

Well, strictly speaking, not your idea, more Margaret’s command!
I share the choice problem, but I’m glad you included this one. It’s terrific.
I rather liked the sign about the pigeon too!
