I haven’t really been a sporty person since leaving school where I was involved with hockey and athletics. With four children to bring up there was never really any time, nor money and my physical activity has been limited to gardening, household chores and walking. Not exactly sporty! Though I did once do line dancing. OK not a sport. Though pretty physically demanding. I don’t suppose board games count? Thought not.
Fortunately other people are. Sporty.

Funnily all to do with water. The last one looks fun, though I would probably break my ankle!

Sailing the Norfolk Broads is still a dream of mine.
It does look fun. I have only ever been in a rowing boat with my brothers when I was very young. I remember swans being a bit too close!
Well, on a sailing-boat you’d have more of a distance to swans.
Great action shots!
Thanks Carol.
We’ve seen the kids doing surf skimming here Jude but I didn’t realize it was a “thing” nor that it had a name so thanks for that! Loved all of your water sports which are a great fit for the week. Thanks so much for joining the fun!
The surf skimming does look fun. I’m not confident in water, didn’t learn to swim until I was eleven, but I do like watching others enjoy themselves.
I’m not sporty either, but other sporty folk make good photo subjects…great pics! (Surf skimming does look fun…)
I never go to sporting events so these are the best I could find. I’d be hopeless on a surfboard or paddle board. I’d never manage to balance!
That surf looks very Australian Jude… Jack made skimmer boards for his boys way back in time, they had a lot of fun with them.
The north coast of Cornwall has very Australian looking beaches – golden sand and good surf conditions.
Missed this one! xx
Gosh, how did you get to this one?
I was looking for a link to your bench post this week. I went the long way round. Posting tomorrow xx
😊
Early birthday present xx
