The final hour

I have done my best to complete the 6 month (24 hour) project set by Lisa of the blog NorthWest Frame of Mind to show what is happening around the world (both home and away) depicting one hour each week. I ran out of ideas during the middle of the night, so it was good to see how others managed this. It certainly was a challenge! Thank you Lisa for making me think about every hour of every day and getting me to record what has been going on in my world during these last 6 months. Today is the last hour. And in line with the foggy autumn weather which has finally arrived in my part of the world, I offer you a few more photos of Ludlow.

This week is between 11:00 – 12:00. I hope you’ll join in! See links for more details.
Gorgeous spider web capture! The spider looks a bit cold all curled up like that. Hope you’re a bit warmer 🙂 Oh and that lovely castle through the trees ….. *sigh* …. one day 🙂
It is chilly today, but we have had a good start to autumn, September was a lovely month and even last weekend I was on the coast without a coat on!
Hmm, here in CT Spring and Winter are still bickering over who should be where. We get two good days and three grotty but the drizzle is good for the garden 🙂
Seems like the weather all over the world is confused – did anyone mention climate change?
Yeah, I was thinking that.
Jude the capture of the spider and the web with the shiny droplets is astounding! Wow!
I had to use an art effect Sue as the original photo is a bit blurry – but I think it works well. Should I also confess to adding the water droplets?
Well if you are clever enough to have figured out how to do such editing then I say good job!
[blush]
They were added by use of a watering can – at the time of this photo it hadn’t rained in weeks! making up for it now though 😦
Oh I hadn’t thought of that kind of editing! 🙂 Perhaps you brought on the rain with your trick.
And what a beautiful way to end this challenge. It must have been quite difficult at times but you stuck with it, well done! Love these autumn pics and the one of the spider is quite wonderful 🙂 xx
Autumn has finally arrived Sherri and with it those spiders, even in my teeny patch they are busy spinning webs! So long as they stay outdoors I don’t mind 😉
Quite 😉
I agree. I couldn’t tear myself away from the spider and its web. What a spectacular capture. ❤
Thanks Tess – read my comment to Sue!
You rock! Great spider photo – enjoyed from a distance 🙂
Haha! He/she is about a metre from my window!
Closed window, I bet!
Dan Antion has a spidey pic today, too. I was thinking it’s Halloween inspired because spiders are on my mind as we decorate for Trick or Treat, but do you even celebrate Halloween??
We do now! Along with the High School Prom! I’m not one for Halloween at all; as a child it was all about Guy Fawkes, fireworks and bonfire night 🙂
High School prom gave me more heeby jeebies than Halloween :-). Now I gotta look up Guy Fawkes!
I’m in agreement with everyone else – as much as I don’t care for spiders and their webs, your photo is a beauty!!
I really enjoyed seeing your world in Ludlow during this challenge. Looking forward to more 🙂
Thank you Jo. They are quite photogenic creatures aren’t they? And I rather liked the colour of this one. I do not like walking into a web though, ugh!
I have enjoyed the project – it has made me think about what I am going to post and plan what I could realistically do in the time frame, fortunately Ludlow has a lot of things going on for such a small town so that has helped with a lot of the hours. I have loved your contributions too – especially your night time jaunts 😀 😀
I really wanted to do this but couldn’t seem to find the time (pun intended). You did well . Kudos to you and Lisa, I’ve enjoyed your posts.
Many thanks Dawn! It has been an interesting project and kept me busy during the summer! Maybe now I’ll get back to posting more windows – I have a few!
Beautiful shots, Jude! I’ts been so great to follow you though Ludlow and beyond this summer, your enthusiasm for the project made me smile every week. 🙂
A job well done 😀
I’ll be there later in the week for this one, Jude. I mistakenly took 11-12.00 photos last week (out with the Nordics- I must have got distracted). I love your bracken shot. I was down on the Moors this morning and it was sensational for colour (but cold). 🙂
Bracken is lovely when backlit by the sun, sadly not today – cold and wet here. I will pop over to yours shortly – just can’t quite catch-up at the moment, trying to write posts and read others and sort out stuff for Oz!
No hurry, hon. I know the feeling. I’m just getting settled back before I depart again. 🙂
You off back to Tavira? How long for this time?
Love our spider image. So artistically done, Jude. 🙂 The castle shot is also really gorgeous.
