I have lived in the UK for most of my life, but when young I definitely had wanderlust and even ended up living in South Africa for several years which was a wonderful experience. Beaches are such wonderful places – whatever the season they uplift the soul. Very fortunate to live where I do – 3 or 4 minutes by car and I can get there. Winter is one of my favourite times to walk down by the beach here – far less people around!
Yes, you Aussies have some beautiful beaches and so many of them!
