I have lived in the UK for most of my life, but when young I definitely had wanderlust and even ended up living in South Africa for several years which was a wonderful experience. I now look forward to a long and leisurely retirement doing what I like most - gardening, photography, walking and travelling. View all posts by Heyjude
I love this, Jude. So dramatic. An overwrought rather Gothic look. How can tables and chairs become ever so slightly sinister? π
Possibly because they were mostly in deep shade?
Love the drama, Jude….as Tish has said, a touch of the Gothic
I think it is because you can’t quite tell which are the objects and which are the shadows.
Indeed!
Great photographs!
Thank you. Glad you like them π
Welcome! I do!
such pretty shadows- I love cut out furniture like that-
They are rather beautiful.
That wrought iron provided you with some compelling shadows indeed, Jude.
Regards as always, Pete. x
The tables and chairs are pretty, but the shadows more so.
Absolutely brilliant Jude, did you just take them or were they in your collection?
In my collection Gilly; Valetta, Malta. Just waiting for an opportunity… π
Quite the shadows indeed but even more beautiful is the design of the tables and chairs π
Yes, they are rather nice π
ya π
Nicely captured shadows, Jude. I agree with Tish about the slightly sinister look.
Because no-one is sitting there?
Possibly
Great shot! At first glance it looked like black lace – like the Spanish national dress headwear!
Yes! It does.
Great effect!
