There are lots of ways to interpret this challenge and I have used mirror reflections such as images reflected in an actual mirror; shiny metallic objects; glass and probably the most common – reflections in water – before.

But yesterday I was fortunate to be able to visit the famous Beth Chatto Gardens in Essex and although she is best known for her gravel garden, there is a lot more to see including the lovely feature pools.
Looks like a nice garden, Jude.
(Colchester for holidays? A long drive from Cornwall…)
Regards as always, Pete. x
Colchester for a wedding tomorrow! And yes a long drive! Then slowly winding our way up the east coast to Edinburgh – Norwich, Lincoln, Alnwick… should be fun 🙂
Alnwick Castle looked impressive. I drove over to see that once, and it was closed. Had to settle for the outside view. I went to Bamburgh instead, and loved it.
(Norwich…tantalisingly close…)
Driving from Cornwall to Edinburgh and back, that’s hard core motoring. I’m impressed.
Unfortunately Alnwick castle is closed when we are there too! Filming! But the gardens are open and that is what I want to see. I agree, Bamburgh is a great place to visit. I like driving, but must admit there is a LOT of traffic on the roads these days.
I love looking down into the sky in garden pools. 🙂
I like the mirror in the poll, but the splashes of color got to me too – the silver, the pink, and the yellow – 🙂 so beautiful the layers are too
Looking forward to more 🙂 🙂
Wow! Have a great trip!
Lovely. I particularly like the pale green/yellow and pink reflections – they are so pretty.
A pretty garden and so much in flower still. The gravel garden is very pretty and free too. I’ll post about it when I am back home.
Looking forward to see more of it in your post(s).
What a beautiful garden! 🙂 Thanks for sharing.
I’ll share more from this garden once I am home and have time to write about it.
Looking forward to that!
Have a great weekend,
Pit
Garden reflections are so pretty! Perfect mirror images. 🙂
This is such a pretty image, Jude. Have fun at the wedding. 🙂
Thanks Sylvia, it was a lovely day.
Beautiful. So serene.
