I have lived in the UK for most of my life, but when young I definitely had wanderlust and even ended up living in South Africa for several years which was a wonderful experience. I now look forward to a long and leisurely retirement doing what I like most - gardening, photography, walking and travelling.

Nice find!
Barcelona was full of surprises. I will eventually get around to writing more about the trip.
Look forward to your memoirs!
I love railway stations, but it is so hard to find them without crowds of people inside. You did very well here, Jude. The place is almost deserted.
Best wishes, Pete. x
It WAS very quiet, but this is not the main station, but one near the beach so maybe it’s not well used. Anyway no complaints from me, I’m always happy to find a quiet place π
This is gorgeous and neat, Jude. I love the glistening floor too. A perfect entry to illustrate a source of light in a classy interior.
Thank you Paula, yes it is a lovely building and actually looks very pretty in colour too.
Do you shoot in colour and convert it afterwards or do you shoot in black and white?
I almost always shoot in colour and then convert. I can play with contrasts and saturation then before converting. I do have a nice film grain effect on the camera though that I use occasionally.
it seems more economical to shoot in colour and to convert later :). I do the same.

Stunning. π
Thanks Tess π
Captivating!–evokes many stories…wish it was mine! (I’d love to use it as a fiction prompt.)
Feel free to use it if you want to.
Oh, that’s generous of you–will properly attribute to you and your blog if so! Thanks much.
You’re welcome π
Love the light and contrast in this scene.
Many thanks LD π
That’s a real beauty!
Thanks Debbie.
Perfect – and so atmospheric.
Thank you Elaine π
I haven’t seen either station, this one is beautiful!
Quite unexpectedly beautiful inside.
