I fully enlarged this shot, and the detail is excellent. The chevron pattern also started to move! (Just my eyes, I suspect…)
Best wishes, Pete. x
Fascinating what you can see when you zoom in, I had no idea of the intricacies of these carvings
OMG. All that minute detail is mind-boggling. Wow. ❤ ❤ ❤
Only when you look closely do you realise what astonishing detail is in the carvings.
This is fabulous, Jude. As I scroll down the page with my mouse and focus on your image it rolls like a monochrome kaleidoscope. Extraordinary! I appreciate your participation. Have a great week!
Marvellous intricacy, Jude
Surprising what zooming in can reveal.
Well, that’s true!
Architectural details are so great in black and white. 🙂
Many buildings do seem to be better in black and white don’t they. Maybe we focus on the detail better.
Good to see a b&w in detail, and more Barcelona. A great photo.
I keep popping a few photos of Barca in – eventually I shall write more about my visit. I have a lovely monastery to share.
The details are exquisite, Jude! I jumped to Lincoln conclusions when first I looked. Tssk! 🙂 🙂
It’s a remarkable building isn’t it? and the details are stunning. I always imagine the workers creating these places.
I wasn’t too struck by the inside, felt very dark, but we didn’t go in very far as it was quite crowded. Did you go inside?
