March Square | Squares

Squares and Cubes

If you fancy a distraction from the weather this month then join in with Becky’s (“A life of a 40 something”) March challenge of square photographs with the theme:

  1. Squared Squares’ – think multiple squares and squares within squares
  2. Squaring the Circle’ – the perfect post will be a circle within a square

March Square | 4th March

I have lived in the UK for most of my life, but when young I definitely had wanderlust and even ended up living in South Africa for several years which was a wonderful experience. I now look forward to a long and leisurely retirement doing what I like most - gardening, photography, walking and travelling.

  1. I really must pay attention, it’s only from reading your post that I realised just a square photo of squares or circles is what I’m supposed to do.

    1. Becky is quite flexible with her rules. But yes, that is the intention. Some of my circles verge on oval, and some squares kind of rectangular, but let your imagination fly!

      1. Probably down near the Quay. I’m not a fan of modern art. I think I went there before it was re modelled, but there were too many bloody carcasses claiming to be art, and I’ve never felt tempted back.

        1. Best MOMA I have been inside was in San Francisco, there was some very interesting work and photography there.

  2. Yes. Front of building on George St. Rear of building directly on Circular Quay – lights projected onto facade each Vivid Festival. Near to the Overseas Passenger Terminal.
