If you fancy a distraction from the weather this month then join in with Becky’s (“A life of a 40 something”) March challenge of square photographs with the theme:
- ‘Squared Squares’ – think multiple squares and squares within squares
- ‘Squaring the Circle’ – the perfect post will be a circle within a square

I have lived in the UK for most of my life, but when young I definitely had wanderlust and even ended up living in South Africa for several years which was a wonderful experience. I now look forward to a long and leisurely retirement doing what I like most - gardening, photography, walking and travelling.

That’s a corker! Well done, Jude.
Best wishes, Pete. x
Thank the teasel Pete. I just took the photo and edited it a touch 🙂
Either way, I liked it. 🙂
That’s wow – reminds me of a kaleidoscope I had as a child!
It does look a bit like that.
Incredible colours!
Well I might have had a hand in that… 😉
Definitely not just a teasel, it is beautiful 🙂
A beautiful teasel 🙂
I love the colours in this. 😊
Slightly edited I have to confess.
Oooh, that’s a goodie! 🙂 🙂
Awesome shot. I had to look up teasel. I thought it was one of those made-up, fake “Hardy-country” words that people used on British telly. 😂
As if…. 😀 😀
Truly beautiful!
Thanks Lisa.
Great photo, Jude. I thought at first it might be a grevillea but the comments tell me otherwise.
This challenge is generating some wonders indeed.
