It’s June and another 30 day challenge from Becky. ‘The Life of B’ This month she is looking for a roof or roofs or even rooves. Follow the link for the rules.
I have lived in the UK for most of my life, but when young I definitely had wanderlust and even ended up living in South Africa for several years which was a wonderful experience. I now look forward to a long and leisurely retirement doing what I like most - gardening, photography, walking and travelling.

Perfect for the challenge, Jude. One of the best yet. 🙂
Best wishes, Pete. x
Thanks Pete.
I love this one, Jude. I have a similar shot. 🙂
I wondered if you would have!
Oh, beautiful….a place I never got to
Very touristy.
Well, everywhere worth going to seems to be now!
Shouldn’t complain because I am a tourist, but I don’t like crowds, although Barcelona was OK, but that was late October. I’d hate it now. Thinking of Scotland next year, should be fairly quiet there 🙂
I, too don’t like crowds….
Ooh, nice one Jude xx
Thank you Jo. I guess you must have been at the airport when you wrote this.
Yes I think so xx
Nice double framing
Thank you. The gaps in the wall were perfect for a view of the town.
Tremendous!
This photo has a storybook quality to it. Love it.
The town is like it is out of a fairy story. Especially the castle!
Beautiful photo, Jude.
Very picturesque town. 😀
Perfect framing. Feels like it should be in oils. Beautiful x
Thank you Becky. There is another interesting roof there, but I can’t make it square 😁 Will post it after the challenge.
Ooh intrigued x
I love this photo!
Where are you thinking of for Scotland?
Outer Hebrides and Skye – June time if I get organised.
Skye is very popular, but you should miss the main tourist season if you go in June. I’ve only been once, as a teenager, and my main memory is attending a Highland Games in the rain! Oh, and my parents wanting to climb mountains, and me not being even remotely interested in doing that. 🙂
We won’t be climbing any mountains I can assure you 😀
I think mountains are best admired from sea level. 😀
