It’s June and another 30 day challenge from Becky. ‘The Life of B’ This month she is looking for a roof or roofs or even rooves. Follow the link for the rules.
A black and white timbered building in Ludlow, Shropshire with an M type or double-gabled roof.

The Ludlow rooflines are great!
Had to have a least one!
Of course!
I know those roofs!
I did find out why they have a harp outside, but have forgotten! Once a pub? Or the sign comes from a pub? My memory is rubbish these days.
I think it was an inn.
You must have drunk in there!
Not a pub whilst I was living there. Just the sign.
Too many pubs disappeared!
Probably many years ago. Ludlow has a LOT of pubs!
Hic – does it?! 😉
Behave yourself! Not been mingling with the
MischievousRestless One have you?🤣
I am sure your old Ludlow photos will deliver a great selection of roof shots, Jude. This worked well in black and white.
Best wishes, Pete. x
Thank you Pete. Hope you are having a lovely Sunday. Started off bright and sunny here, but now clouded over 😦
Looks like a setting for a storybook to me.
Murder mystery?
Ahhh, could be. I was thinking romance.
That would also work. Period romance.
Fab roof and perfect in B&W
I do like a black and white timbered building. 🙂 One day I need to go and visit Ludlow.
You really ought to. It’s most charming, though best to avoid the festival weekends unless you like crowds.
Thanks for the heads up about festival weekends – I am not a huge fan of crowds really. 🙂
My question, is it an inn has been answered, lovely!
Lovely ornate timber. Great photo.
