Bonus Greens.

I have lived in the UK for most of my life, but when young I definitely had wanderlust and even ended up living in South Africa for several years which was a wonderful experience. I now look forward to a long and leisurely retirement doing what I like most - gardening, photography, walking and travelling. View all posts by Heyjude

Hi Jude, Your starling’s wing is just so fabulous that I almost didn’t post my ‘greens’ as they seem pitiful in contrast. I missed the yellow challenge but I’ve found a few greens for March. https://travels-with-my-camera.blog/2021/03/11/life-in-colour-green/
Poor starling, I was guessing it deceased; I couldn’t imagine getting that wonderful shot otherwise.
It was a bit of a shock as I was gardening at the time.
😦
Wow, I am impressed with the detail, not the deceased startling. Beautiful colour. I have a few greens coming your way.
I have photos of live ones, but not quite so close up. One will feature in a different colour month 🙂
Excellent 🙂
Delightful feathers, Jude – but poor starling. They truly are beautiful birds.
That is so beautiful Jude!
Me again! 10 minutes from pressing Publish I realised it’s a Monday walk day. Where did that fortnight go? Happy Monday!
Well you don’t have to impose a strict regime on when you post your walks, maybe simply post when you have a new walk and people can always link to the most recent if they want to post more often. Take control! Be free! Before you know it it will be April… ðŸ¤
Stunning starling photo, such colours and details. I admire that, upon coming across a dead bird in your garden, you photographed it!
It died in my hands and I thought it was so beautiful I really needed to capture that beauty.
Poor thing. But you’ve memorialised it wonderfully.
