A Blue-Green Door and Agave

I have lived in the UK for most of my life, but when young I definitely had wanderlust and even ended up living in South Africa for several years which was a wonderful experience. I now look forward to a long and leisurely retirement doing what I like most - gardening, photography, walking and travelling. View all posts by Heyjude

Those shadows are making this door more appealing ๐
Tree shadows.
That’s an interesting door, Jude.
Best wishes, Pete. x
One of the Californian missions.
Great photo Jude ๐ ๐ I’ll be back but maybe not doors unless I find some tomorrow
Or in your archives.
I have blue doors coming up the next two Thursdays for Thursday Doors. ๐
janet
I shall look forward to seeing your blue doors!
As you can see I am a door lover: https://geriatrixfotogallerie.wordpress.com/2021/07/07/blue-doors-3/
Me too, though not so many since moving to the countryside.
I know I have a lot of blue doors, but before you announced your colour for July would be blue I had started preparing trees for Becky. Not enough time to do both Iโm afraid๐.
That’s a shame. Maybe if you get a spare minute, or can include one in your end of month post (anything blue for that matter)
End of month is maybe the best idea. I was looking forward to blue! Most inconsiderate of you and Becky not to get together to consider my very specific requirements.
Haha… it would have been easier had I used green or brown, but of course Becky keeps her squares a secret until the last minute.
Weโll blame her for everything then ๐.
I see Jude has blamed me but I blame Jude as I announced trees at the start of last month so she could have easily done non blue. ๐ Maybe Jude this is the moment I could convince you to do a zoom with me so we can plan October together and perhaps we could have Anabel there to moderate!!!!
huh . . . . I have just noticed that Anabel has blamed me too – right you definitely owe me a joint Zoom you two!!!!!!
Clearly I need to have words with you both!! Blue trees are a thing I will have you know, just look at what I have done today ๐
Speaking from the naughty corner! I will start my trees today instead of next week just to appease you.
hee hee – you are a very good girl and now may come out of the corner!!! I might even find a gold star ๐
Teacher’s pet ๐
I know, she’s such a fabulous woman ๐
Just been back to look at the first square I had prepared, and guess what? Itโs blue! I could have chosen many illustrations from my collection of this particular subject, so I must have had a premonition since I had my โsquare dayโ before Jude changed to blue. Just add second sight to my many accomplishments.
always knew you were an extraordinarily gifted woman and now we have concrete evidence – what a woman.
I might have a door or too! But I know I have shuttersโฆ.all in time!
No rush…
A very characterful door!
Indeed. I loved the Californian missions, so much character to be found.
River of Life – I like that! Our wedding rings have a wriggly line etched on them symbolising the sea. Something similar though different and one not blue ๐
A lovely idea. I know here you can buy rings with the coast of a specific area etched on them.
