Life in Colour

To find out more about this year’s photo challenge here on Travel Words, please read this post.

This month we will be looking for Gold. Gold is the colour of wealth, of power, of gods. Gold-leaf applied to paintings, gold crowns and coins. But look also for golds in the natural world, a fish, a sunset or sunrise, flowers and autumn leaves or sunlight on water. Or capture the light in the ‘golden hour’

Heyjude

I have lived in the UK for most of my life, but when young I definitely had wanderlust and even ended up living in South Africa for several years which was a wonderful experience. I now look forward to a long and leisurely retirement doing what I like most - gardening, photography, walking and travelling.

    1. They are rather beautiful. Got a technical issue on the backup drive so it looks like being a day of copying data off while we can still access it! I hate technology!

      1. You know my inadequacy in these matters. Fortunately it’s all peaceful here. Chris has gone home and it’s our neighbour Tabatha’s birthday, so we walked in the salinas and had a very nice lunch. Not much else will be accomplished today except for tomorrow’s walk at Harlow Carr. 🤗💕

        1. Will do my best to – just going through diary now, and also to do list to try and work it all out

      1. thanks, but gold is so lovely – will have a quick look to see what I can do before the month is over
