Azalea Steps

The Azalea Steps at Winkworth Arboretum is on the Winkworth Route. As you can see there is a very welcome (bonus) bench at the top!

Heyjude

I have lived in the UK for most of my life, but when young I definitely had wanderlust and even ended up living in South Africa for several years which was a wonderful experience. I now look forward to a long and leisurely retirement doing what I like most - gardening, photography, walking and travelling.

    1. It has been a colourful spring. I am only sad that it is passing so quickly! Only a month to the longest day of the year.

    1. I confess I didn’t walk up the steps this time, but I can imagine the bench is a welcome spot if you do!

  1. What a pretty place to sit and enjoy that riotous burst of spring colour. Azaleas are still very popular in mainly the cooler areas here.
